From the President
Dear Resident, Business, and Community Member,
Woodland’s police officers are nothing without the backing of the community, and we’re so thankful for all of the support the wonderful city’s residents, businesses, and visitors have given us throughout the years. Our association’s mission is two-fold: to protect Woodland’s police officers so they can focus on protecting you and to be a part of the community through our participation in several charitable organizations.
I would like to thank all previous WPOA presidents for their dedication to the WPOA. As I step in, I'll strive to uphold the tireless efforts in protecting our officers, participating in the community we serve, and maintaining positive lines of communication with city leaders.
Our organization represents the officers who have taken the oath to protect our residents, businesses, and visitors. We strive to uphold and exemplify the finest elements of our great community. Each and every day, we work both on-and off-duty to build a safe and prosperous environment for everyone – especially our children. Our association is proud to support a number of charitable and community organizations, including the Special Olympics of Northern California, and sports programs throughout Woodland. We urge you to aid in this charitable effort and encourage anyone interested in participating or donating to these causes to reach out to us.
Thank you again for your continued support of the officers who have taken an oath to protect the residents, businesses, and visitors of this great city. Together, we can keep the Woodland community safe and prosperous for years to come.
